My experience at Samitivej Hospital 5J ward was truly exceptional and deeply comforting.Every single person I encountered made me feel genuinely cared for—from the nurses to the nursing assistants and housekeeping staff. Their kindness, warmth, and constant attention went far beyond expectations and made a difficult time feel safe and reassuring. I am especially grateful to Dr. Or‑Umar Banpamai, whose compassion, professionalism, and dedication were truly remarkable. The level of hospitality here is outstanding. It wasn’t just medical care—it was heartfelt care. My stay was absolutely top‑notch, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

My first time to get admitted in a hospital in Bangkok and while it can be nerve wracking for anyone to get hospitalized, the people and the service makes one feel at ease. I was very well taken care of while I was here. Thank you so much to all the nurses at Ward 4A, we appreciate all the work that you do. And of course, Dr. Santi, my OB. You are the best, thank you so much!

I have to get a 5 hours operation and stay in the ward 3B in building A for 7 days. The service and care here are 5 stars… Also movement detection that the nurses noticed me if I had a big move, impressive…. 😇

We love this plastic surgery department. The doctor, Dr Oumyos- he does MOHS surgery which is probably the only place to get this skin cancer surgery in Bangkok. The whole staff is fantastic and caring. The doctor explained everything and we felt very comfortable. He was gentle and caring. Great results. We highly recommend you to consider this doctor if you are in Bangkok. Tell him the American twins sent you.

I spent 3+ weeks in ward 5J and the nurses are literal angels. I can’t imagine a better care team than them. I was so afraid and they made me feel safe and loved. I love them. If anything ever happens in my future I know I’m in good hands. Each nurse was great, I left healthy again and feeling like they’re family and appreciate all of them: Aum, Pim, Jane, Ree, Ya, Wannipa, Jenjira, Kanyalak, Naruerat, Daowkrison, Wannisa, Thanyaphat — these women are the best team. Also my doctors from intake through surgery were so kind, compassionate, and clear with me — making me feel as safe and cared for as possible during one of the scariest times of my life: Dr Anya, Dr Vanita, Dr Pakpong, Dr Aryeerat— the best team ever. I also see other doctors here for less serious events, and have had a great experience each time. If you’re reading this to ask, “should I go to this hospital?” I can 10000000% say, “yes, go here, you will be safe and cared for the very best.” If I have to explain Samitivej it’s: safe, trusted, kind, actually care about the patient.
